Q: What are "realms"?
A: Each realm explores a different aspect of Irish culture ~ from ancient mythology to landscapes and flavours. Every realm contains 7 unique slimes, each with its own hidden story accessible via QR code.
Q: How do the QR code stories work?
A: Every jar includes a QR code that unlocks an exclusive storyboard narrated by our young storyteller, bringing each Irish legend to life.
Ordering & Restocks
Q: How do I order Slime Banshee slimes?
A: Visit our website during a restock, select your chosen slimes, and check out securely. All slimes are handcrafted in small batches, so availability is limited.
Q: When do you restock?
A: We release new slimes the 1st Friday of every month at 7 PM GMT. Follow @Slime.Banshee on Instagram or join our newsletter for early previews.
Q: Can I reserve slimes or request a restock?
A: Stock is first-come, first-served. Favourites may return in future restocks or themed bundles ~ watch our announcements!
Shipping
Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: Yes! We ship worldwide from Ireland. If your country isn’t listed at checkout, contact us and we’ll try to add it.
Q: How long does shipping take?
A: Orders dispatch within 3~5 business days. Delivery times vary:
- Ireland: 1~3 business days
- EU: 3~7 business days
- International: 1~4 weeks (customs may delay)
📌 Shipping costs are calculated at checkout by destination and weight.
📌 Customs duties & taxes: Paid by the buyer ~ Slime Banshee cannot cover these fees.
Q: Will my slime arrive safely?
A: Each order is carefully packed for protection. If any damage occurs, email photos within 7 days so we can assist or replace items where appropriate.
Caring for Your Slime
Q: How do I care for my slime?
A: Keep slime in its airtight container away from heat or direct sunlight.
Q: What if my slime gets sticky or stiff?
A: For stickiness, add a small amount of the included borax-free activator. For stiffness, warm the slime in clean hands or add a drop of unscented lotion (avoid lotion in clear slime).
Q: How long does slime last?
A: With proper care, slimes can last for several months. Over time they may dry out or change texture ~ this is normal.
Safety & Sensory Play
📌 Our main Slime Banshee range contains borax and is intended for ages 14 and up. A child-safe Banshee Beag Borax Free range now available.
Q: Should I wash my hands before and after playing?
A: Yes. Clean hands keep slime fresh and reduce residue after play.
Q: Are your slimes suitable for sensitive skin?
A: Our slimes are cosmetic-grade and non-toxic, but users with sensitive skin should perform a patch test first and avoid contact with cuts or irritation.
Q: Can slime help with stress?
A: Many users find the textures and sounds soothing for focus and relaxation ~ great for mindful sensory play.
Activator & Ingredients
Q: What activator do you use?
A: We use a mild borax-based activator (under 8% solution strength) formulated for safe handling. Each order also includes a borax-free activator option for sensitive users.
Q: What ingredients do you use?
A: We use cosmetic-grade, non-toxic ingredients such as glue, pigments, mica, glitter, and fragrance oils.
Q: Are your products vegan or cruelty-free?
A: All slimes are cruelty-free and made with cosmetic-grade, non-toxic materials. We don’t claim vegan status unless each ingredient is formally certified.
Q: What about your glue?
A: We use a custom glue blend selected for stretch, texture, and durability. It meets EU cosmetic-grade and EN71~3 safety standards for our adult slime range.

Q: Is your packaging eco-friendly?
A: We use recyclable and compostable materials where possible and encourage reuse of jars and boxes.

Policies
Q: Can I cancel or return my order?
A: Orders cannot be cancelled once placed. Please review your basket carefully before checkout.
Q: Do you accept returns?
A: For hygiene reasons, we don’t accept returns or exchanges. Damaged items will be replaced or refunded upon receipt of clear photo evidence within 7 days.
Q: What if my package is lost?
A: We can’t be responsible for parcels marked as delivered or lost in transit. If an issue occurs, contact your local courier first, then reach out to us for assistance.
